My conclusion is that this is a legacy 32 bit product that is not going to function on 64 bit architecture. and when I download the dmg and attempt to open the package I get an alert "this volume doesn't not meet the requirements for this update". For OS X 10.7 and 10.8: HP Printer Drivers v3.1 for OS X".For OS X 10.9 and newer: HP Printer Drivers v5.1 for OS X.HP's site takes me to "HP LaserJet - Older HP printers with macOS drivers" which lists "NOTE: Before installing the driver, use the information below to make sure the printer is compatible and that you are using an install connection that the printer supports. I have searched high and low w/o success. I have a HP Color LaserJet CP 2025 Printer, SN CNGS415998, Product Number: CB495A that stopped working when I installed Mac OS 11.
